Q&A

Q. What are your top jewellery tips? Statement, minimalist or something in between?

Loop: 99% of the time I'm totally minimalist. I have my staple jewellery that I wear all the time, and it's mostly really simple - stacking thumb rings, a Russian wedding ring, a gold and silver bangle and a ring that used to be my mums that she gave me for my 21st and is my most prized piece of jewellery. Then always hoops earrings - size depends on where i'm going! I love mixing gold and silver with all my jewellery. But when i'm on stage, or for shoots, I often wear much more out there jewellery!

Q. What’s your favourite Daisy London piece?

Loop: That's hard... I love it all! Probably the Chakra choker. I've got the Heart Chakra choker in gold which I love and often wear together with my gold Throat Chakra necklace.

Q. How would you describe your style?

Loop: Pretty laid back...feminine meets tomboy. I like to feel comfortable in my outfits but also a lil' sexy.

Q. The music industry is renowned for being tough. How do you stay calm and keep motivated?

Loop: It is tough, but it's also completely amazing. I don't think I do stay calm really, ha, I'm always a bit overexcited! I'm motivated by my friends and family and other artists who inspire me - and the people who didn't think I could make this my career! Sometimes it does get really hard and there are moments of self doubt, of course, but you push through and then the highs are even more rewarding.

Q. Where do you get your inspiration for your songs?

Loop: Mostly from my personal relationships - with friends, boyfriends, family, professional relationships. I can only really write about stuff that I've gone through myself, otherwise I struggle to find the right words. So my best songs usually come from turbulent times! Unfortunately "what's bad for your heart is good for your art!"

Q. Favourite song at the moment?

Loop: I think probably 'See You Again' by Tyler, The Creator and Kali Uchis - although I've kinda listened to it to death now, so I need to move on and come back to it later before I ruin it for myself!!!
