Together By Estée Lalonde | Behind The Scenes Part 1

There we were, on a crisp autumn morning in East London, for the fourth, yes we repeat, fourth Estée x Daisy collection photoshoot: Together. Yes, we’d managed to squeeze in our third collection shoot, Elevate, mid-pandemic, in November 2020 under strict covid conditions. But this one felt different. London was buzzing, we were buzzing. We couldn’t wait to be Together again.

We spent Day 1 in the light-filled, cavernous spaces of The Yard, Leytonstone. And between cups of tea, coffee and biscuits (and more tea, coffee and biscuits) we went through the looks, through the styles, and decided on the programme of events for the day.

Then it was into the stylist’s chair for hair, nails, makeup....

Followed by lights, camera, action!

There were lots of costume changes. Lots of touch-ups. But most importantly, lots and lots of laughs. All captured beautifully on film by the incredibly talented, Tara Collingwoode.

As ever, shoot day was a fun but long old day...

But as always, the outcome was so, so worth it. Just look at these!
