Bold coloured curtains, velvet headboards and walls covered in jewel like hues: it was love at first scroll when we first came across The Rose Hotel on Instagram earlier last year. With it’s eight uniquely decorated bedrooms, pastel bathroom suites and bistro-style bar area, the family-owned boutique hotel was the perfect setting for our campaign shoot with Estée Lalonde. After our two days away, the coastal town of Deal in Kent is now firmly on our radar and we’re completely smitten with both the town and the hotel. A relaxing mix of scenery and culture, Deal’s winding Georgian streets are filled with independent retailers, local cafés, galleries and antique shops that are ideal for whiling away an afternoon or two. The pebbled beach and the 1950’s pier are great for long walks to work off those delicious long lunches at The Rose, and you can even spot the French coastline on a clear day. Our only complaint? That we didn’t have quite enough time there, so we’re already planning a return weekend visit.
