It’s been a crazy ride these past few weeks for so many of us and I’ve always spoken openly about my mental health. There have been good days, bad days, great days, and stay in bed all day days. How long ago does that Tiger King fancy dress for zoom quiz night feel?! We’ve been in this for a long time now and I’ve learnt even more about myself. It’s really made me think about how we are all navigating our minds though it all. If you have a brain, mental health relates to you. It’s something that we all have to think about and start normalising the dialogue to make it as common as talking about a tummy ache. Now is the time to start talking, if you weren’t before.
I’m trying to be nice to myself when I catch those negative thoughts floating around. We’re all dealing with a lot of emotions right now, so I think it’s been really important to me to take breaks, switch off as much as I can and do things that really feed my soul. Self care is also really important. As I work in beauty, a lot of my personal self care is around baths, facials etc., but I am also making sure I create time for yoga, running and just spending time outdoors.
"It’s about taking time out for yourself to breathe and create space, whatever that may look like."

Now we’re able to get out to the parks, I’ve loved laying on a blanket in the sunshine with Effie. I’ve been reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. I’ve read it before, but I find myself coming back to it over and over again when I need a reminder on being present. If you haven’t read it already, go grab a copy.

It’s all about the moon for me right now! I’m currently wearing the Luna Charm Necklace and matching bracelet! They’re so dainty and jingly. I love anything moon-related! The evolving lunar phases remind me that things are always changing and to try to be fully present in each moment while I can.
