THE JOB


As a key part of Daisy’s marketing team the Social Media Executive will be in charge of creating and executing the social content calendar. You will create assets to post, working closely with the in-house creative team to outline social content requirements, build communities across all platforms and provide detailed performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing you will ensure brand tone of voice and key marketing themes, campaigns and objectives are executed and achieved to the highest standard across Daisy social channels. You’ll be the gateway between the customers and the brand, providing the behind the scenes insights into what goes on in the world of Daisy.

THE ROLE


  • Working with the Senior Marketing Team to deliver Daisy's social media content strategy, to meet KPIs relevant to each channel against brand and commercial objectives - traffic, conversion, following, engagement and product storytelling
  • Create and execute the daily social content calendar
  • Scheduling / posting all content through relevant platforms and channels
  • Detailed performance reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, providing actionable insights for both content and channel improvement
  • Quarterly strategy reports, identifying key learnings and actions for the quarter ahead
  • Build and champion the Daisy community through engagement, comments and conversation across all social channels
  • Briefing in and creating ‘social first’ content at every opportunity
  • Write on brand and engaging captions
  • Work closely with the Influencer Marketing Executive to source new creators and optimize content deliverables
  • Work on campaign shoots, content days and events. Showing a natural confidence working with high profile taste makers and models to capture social content

EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS


  • Social media culture connoisseur, with a presence on all platforms and a deep understanding of each channel
  • Fully immersed in the social media marketing landscape; the first to know about industry trends and consumer behavior
  • A positive can-do attitude, natural curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills. Very capable of analysing strategies and work to improve performance
  • Solid understanding of the impact of socials on the wider business brand and commercial objectives
  • Detail and data oriented, with the ability to identifying actionable opportunities to improve channel performance
  • Proficient in GA/4 and social analytics tools, including in app reporting and insights
  • Strong understanding of, and motivated by, key performance indicators
  • A strong creative eye and thrives being part of a collaborative creative team
  • In depth understanding of the influencer landscape, following key tastemakers
  • A keen eye for photography, video and creative content in all forms
  • Strong photo and video editing skills using apps such as Splice, Imovie, Capcut, Tezza/VSCO and Unfold. Plus a good understanding of trend driven edits and editing tools
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop is essential
