Making of the Shrimps x Daisy Collection

Nearly a year in the making, the collection captures the essence of both brands and brings something fresh to your jewellery stack. With Daisy Co-Founder & Creative Director Ruth Bewsey longtime SHRIMPS super fan, and SHRIMPS founder Hannah Weiland’s favourite flower being a daisy, this collaboration feels as though it was meant to be.

Charms are at the heart of the collection. Hannah has been collecting antique charms for as long as she can remember, trawling markets and vintage sites. “I have a penchant for anything miniature and charms really encapsulate this for me. I love jewellery with a deeper meaning, so for this collection we focused on symbols for luck and love, including the acorn for growth and unlimited potential, and the four leaf clover in a horse shoe for good fortune.”

For Ruth it was all about bringing effortless, everyday style to the collection alongside expertise increating intricate and symbolic jewellery. A dream collaboration process, from concept and design sketches, through to final samples and photoshoot.
