The campaign has funded the design of 150 solutions for change, which work to reduce the harassment of women in this country. Bringing together Government, local authorities and public services, the project is working to make these ideas a reality. As part of their campaign, UN Women are also looking to create safe spaces in the music industry to tackle the ongoing sexual harassment at festivals and concerts.
Since the project was launched, the charity has brought together 50 representatives from the private sector and public services, as well as community activists to form a ‘Movement Makers’ steering group. They have also run numerous workshops to affect behavioural change and worked with women in design to create a blueprint for a safer reality.
